Critical Thinking

Critical thinking to me, means looking at a problem, situation or even just a general question in every aspect that you can. Taking information that you know about this and finding the correct solution. The correct solution may just be the correct one for you or an actual factual answer such as a math problem. Using information and actually taking time to look at it from all aspects and directions is my best definition from my own personal words.

  1. Hi Briggette,

Thank you for your definition of critical thinking. In some cases, critical thinking will yield one correct solution, but in most cases, you will actually find more than one. There is a subtle difference between critical thinking and logic...

What do the experts say about critical thinking? Also, what is the relationship between critical thinking and what you will learn in IM 204? I look forward to your response.

    Sincerely,
    Professor Wexelbaum
